Back in the day, I thought this would be such a fun project to do with my sweet mom. I thought that we would get to write together and post our thoughts online. Little did I know that God would bring a swift moving, rare neurological disease into our lives. My mom is suffering fro
m CBGD or CBD (Cortical-Basal Ganglionic Degeneration). This disease was first noticed in 2010 and has a life expectancy of 6-8 years. We are nearing the end for her and thus part of the reason I haven't been writing on this blog. If you think of it, pray for my parents as they are coping with such a heart-wrenching disease without a cure. Thanks.
**Update: Donna passed away on September 21, 2016 at the age of 67 years old. Both my dad and I, along with one of my mom's sisters, and our pastor were able to be at her side. She is greatly missed. I'm so thankful for Christ and the hope only He can give through faith in Him.
